Dysoxylum (Lafi) Pod

Dysoxylum Pod (Lafi Pod) are hard, woody pods that are great for biofilm growth in a shrimp tank. The outsides are hard and resemble a walnut shells wrinkles, while the insides are a bit softer, allowing it to break down easily, supplementing food for shrimp and shrimplets.

Lafi pods vary in size, much like everything in life, and range from 1-2" wide and 0.75-1.25" tall.

Slow boil your Lafi Pods for approximately 20 minutes and allow to cool in fresh, cold-room temperature water for a few hours before adding to your aquarium.
