    • 2x2" Spiky Moss
    • 1x2" Hookeriaceae Moss
    • 2x2" Pointed Spear Moss

While spiky moss is fairly common these days, the Pointed Spear and Hookeriaceae are still considered a rare moss. Spiky grows a little wild, with large fronds that have many branches. Hookeriaceae Moss grows upright, but much slower, and the fronds are thicker. The fronds of hooker moss branch are rose like, and similar to a tree branch. Pointed Spear moss is a moderately fast growing moss that stays pretty low and branches often, creating a soft pillow off beautiful green moss.

These mosses do not require bright lighting or regular fertilizers, nor do they require co2.  For best results, never add moss to a newly set up tank, or one that is not stable. Moss will do its best in a well established, mature tank that doesn't get warmer than 74°F and sits at 7.6 pH or lower.
