    Tiger Lotus Bulb

Tiger Lotus plants are a beautiful lily type plant grown from a bulb. The leaves are large, and can reach to the top of the water, growing as a pad on the surface. Tiger Lotus leaves can range from greenish/yellow to a nice deep red all in the same leaf, with stripes of deep red. These are very similar to Dwarf Aquarium Lilies, but the Tiger Lotus has more variation in leaf color, with the slashes of deep red throughout the leaves.

As with all bulb plants, DO NOT bury the bulb under the substrate. You can either drop the bulb right where you want it in the tank, and it will put its roots down and start a plant, or you can bury the bulb slightly (no more than halfway) into the substrate if you have some fish that like to play ball with it.
