Biofilm growth is important to your shrimp and shrimplets to graze on, as it is a natural food source for them. Tannins that leech from these Indian Almond Leaves (IAL) are beneficial health wise as well, providing anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties.
Place one leaf into your aquarium and let it break down. When the leaf breaks down to just the skeleton of the leaf, remove skeleton and replace leaf with a new one.
