Caridina Shrimp are a freshwater aquarium shrimp of many colors and patterns native to the tropical waters of Asia. Popular options include the classic Amano Shrimp (Caridina multidentata), Crystal Shrimp (Caridina cantonensis), Tiger Shrimp (Caridina mariae or Caridina serrata), and other hybrids such as Taiwan Bees or Pintos. Caridina shrimp are a great addition to a low ph tank such as planted tanks using soils such as Ada Amazonia.
