2nd Place Crystal Category 2025 American Shrimp Contest Los Angeles
I have been working on these PRL (Pure Red Line) Crystal Red shrimp for a few years now, and they're a great looking group. Most of my PRL will have nice white coverage with minimal red bleeding in. I focus on color over pattern; however, my group throws many "SS-SSS" grade patterns such as no entry or mosura heart. I may be bias, but I think my group is a great starting point, with solid genetics and room to refine what you want in your PRL group's patterns.
Crystal Red Shrimp are great in planted tanks. I've had a couple high tech tanks that had PRL shrimp THRIVING, so if you want a hardy shrimp for a high-tech planted tank, these will make a great choice!
