Lubao is a great grazing food for your large shrimp colony of 50+, as opposed to Kallax balls, which are smaller and great for smaller colonies. These balls are stuffed with amazing products that create thick biofilm for your shrimp to graze on in between feedings, or while on vacation. These will not foul your water when used according to directions.
Kallax will produce biofilm for 30 days and be a constant natural food source for your shrimp. These are a great benefit to mature aquariums, as biofilm availability becomes limited as your tank matures and your shrimp colony grows. You can also use these while cycling your tank, as it will provide a stable bioload for aquariums with inert substrate or soils that do not leech ammonia.
