    Cholla Wood

Your shrimp love cholla wood, in case you don't hear them. Cholla Wood is a great alternative to driftwood. It looks good, and provides hiding places for your shrimp or fry. The surface of Cholla Wood is great for growing biofilm, which is a healthy and natural food source for your shrimp.

    • 100% Natural and Organic Cholla from New Mexico.
    • Provides an attractive surface for biofilm and bacteria to grow and feed  your colony!
    • Great cover for Dwarf Shrimp and fry to hide.
    • Excellent addition to your Plecos diet.
    • Put a plant or moss on it!
How to prepare Cholla Wood for your Aquarium or Shrimp Tank: Boil for 10 minutes and soak in cool & clean water overnight. Boil and/or soak in cool water for longer to expel more tannins. May take 2-3 days to sink.
