Rotala wallichii is a very delicate stem plant that definitely appreciates CO2 supplementation, but when provided a stable aquarium with all its needs met, does not need it to grow. This Rotala species has a beautiful red/pink top growth that fades as it ages. It is very sensitive to inconsistency and will change the look of its growth according to tank health, nutrients, and light intensity very quickly. Makes a great midground plant!
